Hand dyeing is done using professional acid dyes and are heat set to retain color. Even though all yarn is well-rinse after it is dyed, some bleeding may occur.

Every base take dye different due to its content. some colors may look more saturated on single ply than it does on 75/25 merino/nylon. The skein you'll receive may look slightly different than the one shown in the website, unless you're getting the the same skein as the photo. Because of the way hand dyed yarn is dyed, no two skeins are the same even when they are dyed in the same batch. Some monitor displays may vary. All yarn is hand dyed in small batches and Doug tries his best to replicate dye lots.
